Hyades

Hyades is a cloud-like platform for the MIT community. Think "Amazon Web Services" or "Google Cloud Platform." The goal is to provide flexible computational resources on demand, which will enable MIT community members to host websites (á la scripts), run virtual machines (á la XVM), and more.

Hyades is a SIPB project. Email hyades@mit.edu to get involved. You can also stop by SIPB meetings (every Monday 7:30 PM in the SIPB office, W20-557), where you can be added to our mailing lists and be notified about our regularly held Hyades hackathons.

Hyades uses technologies like Kubernetes and etcd. The hyades source code is on GitHub:
